Give STL Day 2017

May 11, 2017  |  12am – 11:59pm

It’s on! Once again, we are participating in Give STL Day, which will be held on Thursday, May 11.

This year, the St. Louis Community Foundation has partnered with a new technology vendor, CiviCore, a developer with more than 15 years of experience managing high-volume giving day events. The fundraising platform contains innovative donor-friendly giving tools and robust backup and contingency systems.Give STL Day is an online day of giving where nonprofits like ours will be reaching out to supporters like you, to share our mission and raise funds. Give STL Day generated a total of $2.15 million for more than 900 nonprofits in 2016, despite the technological challenges.

This year, with your help we are committed to making Give STL Day even more successful.

Midnight 2

URGENT – Please Help Midnight

URGENT~ Midnight was surrendered for euthanasia at City of St. Charles Animal Control.

We received permission from his prior owner to network him and we need to get him out of there. We’re hoping to find that right person with a soft spot for seniors who will give him a new home. Midnight is neutered and 15-20 yrs old. He tested negative for FIV and FeLV. He had moderate kidney disease.

Please contact Dawn at Shelter Friends if you can help this gorgeous fellow.

The President of Shelter Friends (Dawn Dulle) can be reached at (314) 750-7979 or email Dawn at info@shelter-friends.com to inquire about the current availability of Midnight.

As always, thank you for your help networking Midnight. It takes a village.

Thanks!

Julious - Urgent Rescue Needed

URGENT! NEEDS RESCUE BY TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2017!

URGENT! NEEDS RESCUE BY TUESDAY, FEBRUARY 7, 2017!

ONLY ONE MORE DAY TO RAISE PLEDGE MONEY FOR SWEET JULIUS!

JULIUS is an adorable kitty who has been sitting in our shelter for almost a month due to teeth, gum, and mouth issues. We thought he was feral, so SF paid for him to be neutered, disease tested, ear tipped, and vaccinated, but during surgery they discovered his other issues. He received a Convenia shot and had to wait 2 weeks to be looked at again, Well, lo and behold, when we took him to the vet the 2nd time he turned out to be a very, very sweet kitty who we were able to pet and handle w/o issue. But, this dear boy now needs dental x-rays, possible tooth/teeth extractions, and more work on his mouth. We have already raised $205 to the rescue who saves his life, but dental work can be VERY expensive.

If you could see fit to add even a few dollars to his pledge money it would be deeply appreciated!! We don’t want to saddle his rescuer with huge bills right off the bat!

Thank you so much, and as usual, all donations are tax deductible.

Our Paypal address is info@shelter-friends.com.

And anyone who has pledged already, thank you so very much!!
